Stephen

Live drums. Member from 1998 to 2004; then returned as gig drummer in 2008.
- Biggest musical influence?
- My drum teacher David McCallum who has been a professional drummer since the age of 13. He is now in his 60's and still gigs a couple of nights a week.
- Best moment on the live music scene?
- Playing to any decent sized appreciative crowd is always a best moment, and with ticks in both boxes this was achieved when Tycho supported The Human League in Sydney and Melbourne...ahhh...happy days...
- Worst moment on the live music scene?
- Having a show (Tycho's Brisbane support of Covenant) end before it started thanks to Mico..fucking..soft.
- Funniest moment on the live music scene?
- On tour in Melbourne with Dogmachine supporting Atari Teenage Riot, our singer was being an arse pulling off his best angst ridden, Trent Reznor wannabe crouching pose at the front of the stage during a quiet bit during a song. That pose and the fact that he had just bled on my cymbal was all the incentive I needed to run out from behind the kit and boot him into the crowd, which parted like the Red Sea as he hit the floor. Crowd loved it, I loved it and suprisingly so did the victim.

- Hearing The Village People on a compilation tape my parents gave me for my 11th birthday. I heard them and that's what started me on my musical career....that and professional male stripping......
- What item would you most like a fan to throw on stage?
- A brand new Triumph or MV Augusta motorcycle, but wads of cash would be good to.
- Favourite quote from Spinal Tap?
