Australian synthpop band Tycho Brahe was founded in Brisbane in 1993 by Ken Evans and Georgina Emery.

Reclusive veterans of the live music scene, Tycho occasionally gig around their home city of Brisbane and beyond, either as a duo or augmented by additional personnel. Between shows they retire to Tycho Central, a bunker full of vintage synthesisers, drum machines and science fiction memorabilia.

Tycho have had numerous releases, traded remixes with a number of bands, appeared on compilations the world over, and shared the stage with acts such as The Human League, VNV Nation, John Foxx, Covenant, Pseudo Echo, and Real Life.

In addition to our Melbourne show, we are now also very pleased to be playing a BRISBANE show on Friday 7 August at the mighty Cave Inn! Joining us on the night will be our special guests HEDFOG with their unique style of indietronica, and Dennis from legendary local electronic record label TRANS:COM will be supplying an impeccably curated DJ set between live bands!

Tickets are now on sale for our first show in Melbourne since touring there with The Human League in 2024! Unlike our last two appearances at the 3,000 seat Palais at St Kilda, this show at Odeon Richmond will be a very intimate gig with very limited tickets!
